Observatory Construction

Holes are finally completed and the floor frame is done

As you can see the digging was not easy.

Pier base 4' deep 2500 lbs of cement

10'x12' floor

I built the floor to clear the pier base

I used the 2" x 4" to plumb the walls

Walls are sided

Tailgate to enable lower view and to clear the scope

I should have built the roof with a lower pitch

I fell off the roof. Good thing it's not too high :)

I built this to hold a lot of weight

Here I am, going home after a hard day's work.

My wife forced me to make it look cute. I was happy she let me build it :)
